A 22-year-old young man was shot dead Monday evening in the Catsellas city, in the northern districts of Marseille, reports

BFMTV.

Individuals arrived on scooters around 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot of a supermarket and riddled the victim with bullets, a modus operandi which presages a new settling of scores.

Shortly after the incident, an individual was arrested near the scene, not far from a jerry can of gasoline, while one of the two scooters used was found on fire.

It would be the tenth assassination on the background of drug trafficking this year in Marseille.
