It was on December 7, 2020 that a newborn baby at Södertälje's BB made the people of Södertälje more than 100,000 inhabitants.
Now it will be celebrated with a big city party in Södertälje 17-19 June.
One of 19 municipalities
- It feels very fun that Södertälje is now one of 19 municipalities with more than 100,000 inhabitants.
Of course, this is an opportunity to draw attention to both this milestone and celebrate the municipality's hundreds of thousands of inhabitants a little extra, says Boel Godner (S), chairman of the municipal board.
In addition to the amusement park, food trucks and outdoor cinema, the municipality promises musical entertainment by Jonas Holmberg, Johan Boding and Mezzopotelge, among others.
