A majority of French people believe that the ban on multiple mandates should be reversed. This law, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, was promulgated under the five-year term of François Hollande.

A Paris-Province divide is accepted by a majority of left-wing sympathizers (55% against 44%), regardless of sensitivity. Only 18-24 year olds are not on board with this idea, since 46% are for it and 52% are against it. The division is therefore not based on political opinions, but according to the place of residence of the respondents.
