“Unfortunately, in our neighboring country, Ukraine, there has long been a rampant neo-Nazism, which they turn a blind eye to, which means they actually encourage their activities, some of our partners from the so-called collective West,” Putin said.

Putin added that all this is accompanied by an unprecedented surge of frenzied Russophobia in the so-called civilized and politically correct countries of the West.

“Yes, we hear, I record this in conversations, they tell us: “Well, there are extremists everywhere.”

Yes, it's true, extremists are everywhere.

One way or another, they come out of the underground and show themselves,” he said.

At the same time, the Russian leader emphasized that Nazis are not glorified anywhere at the state level, and also in none of the civilized countries are thousands of neo-Nazi torchlight processions with Nazi symbols encouraged by the authorities.

“Unfortunately, this is happening in Ukraine,” the Russian president said.

Putin also drew attention to the military biological activities of the United States in the post-Soviet space, including in Ukraine.
