Erdogan invited Russia and Ukraine to negotiations in Istanbul. Erdogan spoke in favor of starting joint work to “at least determine the general parameters of peace.” As Russian President Vladimir Putin noted, Moscow and Kyiv agreed that neo-Nazism would not be cultivated in Ukraine and that it would be legally prohibited in the country.
He recalled that the negotiations were almost completed, but Kyiv threw away these agreements when Russian troops retreated from Kyiv. The Ukraine-Southeastern Europe summit was held in Albania.
