In Japan, a rally began in support of the "peaceful" article of the Constitution

According to RIA Novosti, the protesters stand with posters calling for peace in the Asian region, the cessation of hostilities in Ukraine and the prevention of changes to this article in the Japanese Constitution.

Leaders of various non-governmental organizations and student associations speak at the rally. 

In April, the US Navy strike group, led by the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, conducted large-scale exercises with the Japanese Armed Forces in the East China and Japan Seas.
