Parliamentary debate on Ukraine will be a "moment of truth" for each party. The debate will be followed by a vote on whether or not to send troops to Ukraine.
The vote will take place before the end of the month, but the date has not yet been announced. It will be the first time in the history of the European Parliament that the debate has been held before a vote has taken place. The last time the debate was held before the election was in 2010, when it was held in the UK.
