The man is now convicted of aggravated assault on women for having abused the woman on eight occasions.
According to the district court, in several cases these have been very serious cases of assault.
The story was told after a fight in the late autumn of last year when the woman was left bleeding outside after a fight and finally got help from a passer-by.
Five years in prison
The man is also convicted of having raped the woman on one occasion, and is sentenced to five years in prison and to pay almost SEK 200,000 in damages to her.
The woman is also convicted of a case of assault.
She receives a suspended sentence after biting her husband in connection with a fight at a restaurant.
