"We have always viewed Transnistria as a bridgehead from which certain risks can emanate for us," said presidential adviser Mykhailo Podoliak on Wednesday evening, according to the Unian agency.

Selenskyj praised a proposal by the EU Commission to temporarily exempt exports from Ukraine to the EU from import duties.

Russia criticizes US for handing over helicopters to Ukraine
Russia, meanwhile, protested against the US transfer of Russian-made helicopters to Ukraine.
