Ukraine reports several injured after Russian attack on kindergarten in Dnipro. Russia's army is said to have bombed a kindergarten and a university in eastern Ukraine from the air; Kiev says 18 people were injured.
The Kremlin itself praises itself for successes - and awards new naval positions. Ukraine has lowered the draft age of reservists from the previous 27 years to 25. Based on the birth rates at the end of the 1990s, a good 400,000 more men could be drafted to defend against the Russian attackers.
