Today (25th) is the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, which commemorates the creation of an anti-Japanese guerrilla force by Kim Il-sung in North Korea.

A large-scale military parade was expected to coincide with this, but no such news has come in yet.

Today, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, North Korean media highlighted Kim Il-sung's anti-Japanese struggle to a great extent.

The Korean People's Revolutionary Army refers to the anti-Japanese armed guerrillas that Kim Il-sung built in 1932 when he was 20 years old.

[Chosun Central TV: Great Leader, you spent a lifetime of revolution with comrades and anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters from the days of Mt. Baekdu.]

The ROK and US military authorities have expected North Korea to hold a large-scale military parade today.

The trend of preparations for the military parade has been observed since last January, because recently, a large-scale force and equipment such as 20,000 troops and 250 equipment were captured in Pyongyang.

In particular, the rehearsal was held at night, so it was expected that there would be a late-night military parade this morning like the military parade in October 2020.

However, there was no early morning parade, and it is known that there was no circumstance that the parade was held during the day.

[Cha Duk-cheol/Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Unification: I would like to inform you that we are monitoring the related trends, keeping in mind that there are no reports of the military parade by the North Korean media.] First of all, the possibility that the military

parade will be held tonight weighs heavily.

A government source said North Korea was closely monitoring the possibility that it would hold a military parade tonight.

However, if the military parade does not take place until tonight, the event that has been prepared for months will not be able to be held on time, raising questions about the internal situation in North Korea.
