The Yemeni Presidential Council sets its priorities for the next stage

In its first meeting headed by Rashad Al-Alimi, the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council set the general directions and priorities for its work plan for the coming period, and the mechanisms for translating the responsibilities entrusted to it.

In its meeting, which included council members, the government and governors, the council stressed the importance of adhering to the principle of collective responsibility to complete the restoration of the state and alleviate the suffering of Yemenis.

The council stressed, according to the official Saba news agency, that the file of economic stability and easing the human suffering of citizens is a top national priority, stressing that the Presidential Leadership Council has extended its hand for a just and comprehensive peace, while at the same time it will not hesitate to defend the security of Yemen and its people and defeat any foreign projects targeting its Arab identity. , and turning it into a thorn in the side of the region.

Al-Alimi revealed that this meeting will be the nucleus for holding a conference of governors in the temporary capital of Aden to put all the problems and challenges for discussion, including the relationship with the central authority, and to come up with a vision that addresses and helps the local authorities to overcome difficulties and which will be reflected in improving the lives and livelihoods of citizens in the service, security, economic and development aspects, in addition. to post-restoration arrangements.

Al-Alimi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and the Coalition to Support Legitimacy for their great support for Yemen and its people, and for their eagerness to continue and strengthen this support.

Al-Alimi met yesterday with the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf, and also met the ambassadors of the five permanent members of the Security Council, and a number of ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries accredited to Yemen, and renewed the Council's commitment to the provisions of international law, international norms and UN resolutions, and that It works to give priority to the national interest over all interests, calling on everyone to contribute to supporting the efforts of the Council and the government to address the political, economic, social and security challenges in all parts of Yemen.

Meanwhile, the UN armistice entered its third week, despite the continuation of the Houthi almost daily violations on the fronts of a number of governorates.

The Yemeni army's media center reported that the militias committed 143 violations of the armistice in one day, and the defenses of the Yemeni army and tribes shot down a militia's drone in the Ramli axis, south of Marib.
