Lupine: Zelensky is asking the West for more than we can offer!

French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen believes that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is asking Western countries more than they can give him.

"Zelensky wants more and more support. Sometimes he asks for more than we can give," Lubin said in the broadcast of the "France 2" channel today, Thursday.

In response to the presenter's questions, Lubin expressed her opposition to the use of the term "genocide" in relation to recent developments in Ukraine.

She explained: "There is a very clear legal definition of the term 'genocide' and it is inconsistent with the real situation."

According to "Russia Today", Lubin indicated at the same time that she does not trust the possibility of isolating Russia from the international arena, adding: "It is a major world country."

It also called for the resumption of contacts between NATO and Russia after the end of the Ukraine crisis.

"I think the West will have something to lose if Russia chooses in the long run to cooperate with China," she said.

She stressed that if she wins the presidential elections in France, she will rely on "independence, distance and stability" in her foreign policy.

The second round of French presidential elections will be held on April 24.

Marine Le Pen competes in it with the current French President, Emmanuel Macron.

President Macron also did not agree with US President Joe Biden's statement, which considers what is happening in Ukraine a "genocide".

Macron called for "caution in the use of terminology".
