Snow expected in Picardy and the Paris region

It will snow in Hauts-de-France, the soil will whiten locally, then during the morning the snow will temporarily shift to the Ardennes then return to the Nord and Pas-de-Calais in the afternoon, then also to the Picardy in the evening and the Paris region the following night.

It is a "significant snow episode for the season", reports Météo France.

If the falling temperatures will still be positive, gusts of wind between 50 and 60 km / h will blow over the west of Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

We should then have 2 to 5 cm of snow on the ground in general in Hauts-de-France overnight from Thursday to Friday, locally a little more with accumulations caused by a fairly strong north wind.

Further west, the intermittent rains will shift over the Pays-de-la-Loire and the Center at midday, then over the north-eastern quarter of the country in the afternoon, giving a little snow on Lorraine.

In the evening, the precipitation will shift from Alsace to the Alps.
