Six departments remain on orange alert for significant floods, while the weather should be a little drier this Wednesday across the country. Snowfall will continue in mountain ranges, particularly in the Alps and the Massif Central.
In the Alps, the rain-snow limit will rise to around 1,500 m, the snow will gradually fall back onto the border Alps. Minimum temperatures will range from -2 to +3 degrees in general over the north-western half of the country, up to 7 in Brittany under cloud cover.
