Prison closed after a violent punitive expedition in the Côtes-d'Armor

An 18-year-old man accused of violence appeared in court.

At the end of December 2021, an individual had taken refuge, covered in blood, in a supermarket in Caulnes (Côtes-d'Armor).

He explained that he was surprised at his home by two men, equipped with iron bars and baseball bats, reports

The victim lived an ordeal of an hour and came out with fractures, head trauma, and numerous injuries.

This attack was linked to a dispute over drug trafficking and constituted a punitive expedition.

The respondent minimized his role before acknowledging a few shots.

Reimbursement of damage

He was finally sentenced to 36 months in prison, six of which were closed, with an electronic bracelet.

He will have to submit to an obligation of care and work or training.

He is prohibited from contacting the victim or possessing a weapon.

The young man will have to reimburse the damage caused, estimated at around 2,000 euros.
