The block is located at the intersection Djurgårdsgatan-Drottninggatan in central Linköping and consists of 231 homes and 3400 square meters of space for commercial premises.

- The architecture award is a recognition that with the construction of Eddan we have contributed to making Linköping's inner city even a little more beautiful.

Through a fine collaboration with both architect and construction contractor, we have not only created over 200 attractive homes and a number of premises for commercial operations with a top location, but also turned a parking lot into an eye-catcher and a meeting place, says Fredrik Törnqvist, CEO of Stångåstaden in a press release.

"Living and inviting place"

The architectural firm Tengbom is behind the building and the employees are satisfied with the price.

- Our ambition was to develop a landmark that could be addressed in Linköping, at the same time as it could carefully adapt and blend into the cultural-historical and sensitive environment around.

A lively and inviting place with shops, cafes, restaurants with an architecture that adds something new to the cityscape.

A very nice collaboration with Stångåstaden laid the foundation for the project and now we hope that the neighborhood will be an appreciated place by all Linköping residents, says Jan Izikowitz, commissioned architect at Tengbom.
