A high school in Rzeszow, about 50 km from the border, has been transformed into a relocation center for relief shipments and the upwards of a thousand students are involved in the work.

The brothers from Nyköping got in touch with the principal at the school on the way down and thanks to that the load could come into its own.

Clothes were destroyed

According to information that Conny Karlsson received on the spot, many of the clothes that were sent directly to the border were initially destroyed.

- Things have ended up in the ditch and will not benefit anyone.

It has snowed, clothes and blankets have been destroyed, says Conny Karlsson.

The call is now that the shipments that come from outside should be driven to one of the places some distance from the border that can sort and distribute things.

- There is a great need for medication right now in this region because many injured people come here to the hospitals, says Conny Karlsson.

Head home

On Friday, Conny Karlsson and Erik Klim will steer their crew home again and expect to be back in Nyköping again this weekend.

In the clip above, Conny Karlsson shows the transhipment center and tells more about her journey to the Polish-Ukrainian border.
