North Korea conducted a test to develop a reconnaissance satellite yesterday, the Korean Central News Agency reported.

North Korea said that in this test launch, it carried out vertical and oblique imaging of a specific area with the imaging equipment to be mounted on the reconnaissance satellite.

North Korea presented the operation of a military reconnaissance satellite as a strategic goal at the party conference in January last year, and it seems that it is taking steps to achieve it.

It is also evaluated that it has indirectly revealed its will for the intercontinental ballistic missile provocation.

This time, the reconnaissance camera was mounted on a semi-medium-range ballistic missile, but it is because a long-range rocket must be launched to launch the reconnaissance satellite.
