Arnaud B. was still heard this Wednesday by the investigators who extended his police custody for "intentional homicide of a spouse, cohabitant or partner".

Suspected of having killed his partner at the end of January in Paris, the peacekeeper is currently heard in the premises of the Parisian judicial police.

The 29-year-old policeman had called the gendarmerie on Tuesday morning to report his presence at his father's house in Montmeyan (Var) where he was arrested without resistance, according to concordant sources.

The suspect was transferred to Paris on Tuesday evening where he was to be heard by investigators from the 2nd district of the Paris judicial police, responsible for the investigation.

On the run since January 28

The policeman had been wanted since January 28, the day of the discovery in his apartment in the 19th arrondissement of Paris of the body of his companion, Amanda Glain, 28, who died of strangulation, as revealed by the autopsy.

The body of the young woman had been discovered in the bathroom of the suspect, by Parisian police officers who came to the home of the suspect, assigned to Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis).

His colleagues had given the alert not seeing him when he took up duty.
