- The infection is so widespread today and I think that the Public Health Agency has made a completely correct assessment, says Ann-Margret Johansson, operations manager for the preschools in Vaggeryd municipality.

At the beginning of the week, 15 percent of the staff within the preschool in Vaggeryd municipality were absent.

This can be compared with the week before, when staff absenteeism was close to 30 percent.

- It has been tough with a lot of staff losses, says Camilla Strömqvist, preschool teacher at Byllerbyn's preschool in Skillingaryd.

Despite this, she is not worried that the infection will increase in preschool when society now reopens.

One reason is the routines developed at the beginning of the pandemic.

Among other things, increased hand washing for staff, children and also for guardians who enter the hall.

Routines to be maintained, according to the operations manager.

"I trust their judgment"

The preschools in Jönköping County will continue to follow the Public Health Agency's recommendations that both children and adults should stay home in the event of new symptoms of respiratory infection.

- We trust the parents' judgment and if the child is ill, I assume that you keep your child at home, says Ann-Margret Johansson.

The way of thinking during the pandemic has also led to the winter vomiting disease being almost eradicated in the preschool's activities,

in the clip above you can hear more about it.
