The Brazilian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai has succeeded in receiving one million visitors since the launch of the global event on the first of last October.

And the "Brazilian Authority for the Promotion of Exports and Investments" (Apex-Brasil), which is the Brazilian government agency entrusted with managing Brazil's participation in "Expo 2020 Dubai", stated that "the number of one million visitors to the Brazil Pavilion was completed by the visit of family members of the British-Brazilian tourist, (Costa van Heswik). , who are planning to move to Dubai.

The family members received gifts from those in charge of the Brazilian pavilion, in addition to inviting them to dine at (Noosa) restaurant inside the pavilion.

“We are very pleased with the fact that the number of visitors has reached one million, and we believe that this achievement has been achieved thanks to the innovative and immersive concepts presented by the Brazilian Pavilion, by highlighting the diversity that the country enjoys in the business, leisure and entertainment sectors,” said Pavilion General Commissioner Elias Rodrigues Martens Filho.

The pavilion, which extends over an area of ​​4,000 square meters and is located in the Sustainability District, blends the aesthetics of architecture and immersive technology, to simulate the tourist attractions in Brazil, using 125 giant projectors to project video images of forests, rivers, urban centers, food and Brazilian culture on semi-transparent films within its corridors.

For his part, Director of the Brazilian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, Rafael Nascimento, said: “We have witnessed an influx of trade visitors, which opened the way for Brazilian companies participating in the exhibition to explore opportunities and commercial and investment partnerships, thus contributing to achieving our main and strategic goal of establishing a prominent position in the world. Brazil is a leading destination for business, investment and tourism to a global audience.”

Amazon rainforest..in Dubai

The main themes of the Brazilian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai include highlighting biodiversity, highlighting the country's efforts in the field of nature conservation, as well as its focus and contributions to combating climate change.

The Brazilian Pavilion evokes the Amazon rainforest experience in Dubai, and contains a shallow water body that occupies half its area.
