This is stated in the decree of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, which was published on his website.

“By the order of the head of state, Abish Samat Satybaldyuly was dismissed from the post of first deputy chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the statement says.

As the RIA Novosti agency clarifies, Abish Samat is the nephew of the ex-president of the country.

Earlier, the media, citing the Samruk-Kazyna fund, reported that two sons-in-law of the ex-president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev were dismissed from senior positions in national companies.
