The Emirati design platform “Manassa” hosted at “Expo 2020 Dubai”, designer Faisal Al-Malik, a Palestinian fashion designer living between Dubai and London, designer of the week, to present a set of his modern designs consisting of a group of covers decorated with traditional Palestinian embroidery units, but in a modern template, which is an idea It started with his participation in the "Sabil" competition sponsored by the Fine Art Foundation and "Expo 2020 Dubai", which he won alongside artist Alia bin Omair.

The idea of ​​the competition is based on creating designs and colors that remind the visitor of his experience at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Faisal Al-Malik is preparing a master’s thesis in Arts, with a grant from the Tashkeel Foundation in Dubai, to include his future works with broader visions and greater judgments. 40 uniquely designed drinking water fountains that have been deployed throughout Expo 2020 Dubai.

Regarding his participation in “Manasah” Faisal said: “My idea is to combine traditional crafts with modernity.

Today, my participation in an international event such as (Expo 2020 Dubai), is a global window on my designs that the whole world will see from one place.”
