It is noted that since the beginning of the year, Russian courts have fined Meta (formerly Facebook), Google and Tiktok companies for failure to delete prohibited information recognized in Russia in the amount of 111.6 million rubles.

Thus, Facebook (Meta Platforms) received fines in the amount of 70 million rubles, Google - 37.5 million rubles, TikTok - 4.1 million rubles.

TikTok paid the full fines, Facebook paid eight fines totaling 26 million rubles, and Google only three fines totaling 6 million rubles.

Earlier it was reported that the companies Google and Meta face a turnover fine of up to 1/10 of annual revenue.

In October, Roskomnadzor announced that the department would sue to collect turnover fines from Google for systematic failure to remove prohibited content.
