Antonov proposed the US to nullify sanctions against diplomatic missions on a reciprocal basis

“We propose ... to nullify all the imposed sanctions against us,” RIA Novosti quotes Antonov's statement.

According to him, the Russian side is ready to do the same with regard to the restrictions that were introduced in response to the unfriendly actions of the United States.

“It's so easy to give diplomats the opportunity to fulfill their functions,” the ambassador summed up.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, commenting on the statement by US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland about the readiness to introduce new anti-Russian sanctions, called it a dead end.
