Foreign Minister Kamikawa calls for close information exchange between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, overseas diplomatic missions, and companies. With China in mind, Kamikawa said that public-private collaboration is necessary to counter "economic coercion" that puts pressure on partner countries, such as by restricting exports and imports.

He also emphasized cooperation with emerging and developing countries in the so-called "Global South," such as Central and South America and Africa, and expressed his intention to incorporate the vitality of these countries.
