The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, witnessed yesterday the launch of the “Obstacles Fitness and Challenge” game, which included swimming, running and five fitness and endurance stations.

This event also comes as a continuation of the activities of the 50 sports initiative that was launched in conjunction with the country's celebrations of its golden jubilee, organized by the Sports and Social Activities Department of the Department of Media and Public Relations at the Sharjah Police General Headquarters, which will last for five months in a row.

The event witnessed exciting competitions and clear enthusiasm among 60 participants representing 10 teams from different police departments in the leadership, and the participants resulted in the General Department of Police Operations team winning the first place, while the Academy of Police Sciences team won the second place, and the General Department of Central Operations team winning the first place. the third place.

At the end of the event, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi honored the first three places at the team level, stressing the keenness of the Sharjah Police General Command to contain the various sporting events that aim for the security man to adopt a healthy lifestyle, in addition to practicing sports on a daily basis to maintain a high level of fitness. physical.
