The government has cast a vote of confidence on the green pass decree, which is being examined by the Senate at first reading.

This was said in the Chamber by the Minister for Relations with Parliament, Federico D'Incà, after the Budget Committee gave a "non-impeding" opinion on the amendment that does not reveal incompatibility and therefore would allow nurses to work, for a maximum of of 4 hours a week and in addition to their shifts, in nursing homes in difficulty due to the covid emergency.

The classroom was then suspended for the convening of the group leaders' conference and at the end the explanations of vote began.

There will therefore be the so-called 'call' of the senators on the vote of confidence, requested by the government, to be held in the evening.

The president, Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, communicated this to the classroom, also kicking off the session.

In accordance with the obligation to work and rapid tests modality

The decree law on the extension of the green pass in the workplace, passed by the government on 21 September and expiring on 20 November, governs the extension of the obligation of vaccination certification, to be shown for enter the workplace.

The dl is made up of 11 articles in total and assigned to the Senate at first reading.

The obligation entered into force on October 15 and will be valid until the end of the state of emergency, which expires on December 31, 2021. It applies to public and private sector workers.

For both, the decree regulates the operating procedures.

Article 1 also provides that "the constitutional bodies, each within their own autonomy" adapt to the rules.

Precisely for this reason, the two branches of Parliament have also aligned themselves with the vaccination obligation with their own resolutions that impose the green pass for everyone, at the entrance of the Chamber and Senate.

The decree also introduces urgent measures on rapid antigen tests and extends, from 30 November to the end of the year, the administration at affordable prices of rapid tests for the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen.

Finally, the transfer to the Ministry of Health of the contact center service for the acquisition of green certifications is expected, allocating another 3 million euros.
