"The Strasbourg court did not satisfy the specified claim of the plaintiff and, instead of being transferred to a civil clinic, urged the plaintiff to end the hunger strike," Bregadze wrote on his Facebook.
He noted that, according to Saakashvili's statement, his safety and health are not properly ensured in the prison hospital.
Earlier, the US State Department called on the Georgian authorities to provide the necessary medical assistance to Mikhail Saakashvili.
