"The preliminary cause of the explosion is, possibly, a leak of a gas-air mixture," Abdikadyrova was quoted as saying by TASS.

He said that "two gas cylinders have already been removed from the scene of the explosion."

“According to the owner, there are two more gas cylinders with a capacity of 50 liters each under the rubble,” he added.

Earlier it was reported that an explosion occurred in a cafe in Kazakhstan's Aktau.
