Before leaving for school holidays this Friday evening, the Covid epidemic is stabilizing in schools in Nord and Pas-de-Calais.

In figures recorded and communicated by the Lille academy, we learn that 73 classes in the region (out of 36,829) were closed this week because of the coronavirus.

No school closure

This is a little more than two weeks ago when 67 classes had to close their doors.

A small increase that can also be seen in students who tested positive with 118 cases (out of 798,969) against 113 a fortnight ago.

Still, these figures, which remain very low, have not resulted in any closure of schools out of the 3,819 distributed throughout the region.
