Östergötland's museum, which runs Löfstad Castle, has long tried to solve the moisture and heat problems that the castle has.

The moisture has in turn resulted in infestation by pests and the wooden worm has now attacked equipment with high historical values.

Östergötland Museum has therefore demanded money for collection care at the castle and now receives a financial contribution from the Östergötland Region.

- This is important to be able to continue to develop Löfstad Castle.

The castle is very important as a historical destination in Östergötland, says Eva Andersson (S), chair of the regional development committee.
