Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova, at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, suggested that the head of state introduce a non-working day regime throughout the country from October 30 to November 7 due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus.
RT is broadcasting the meeting.
Earlier, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova said that, in her opinion, the existing measures to combat coronavirus are not enough.
Tatyana Golikova suggested asking the president to declare non-working days in the country from October 30 to November 7.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin supported this initiative.
