Banksy's famous 'Faceless Painter', 'Balloon and Girl', has been sold for nearly 20 times the price in three years, making it a hot topic.

Oh!

The third search term for click is 'Banksy works 20 times larger'.

Banksy's painting 'The Balloon and the Girl' was sold for £18.7 million at Sotheby's auction in London yesterday (14th) local time.

It was sold for about 30.4 billion Korean won.

It is the highest price of any Banksy work sold at auction.

Immediately after this work was sold for 1.69 billion won at Sotheby's auction in October 2018, the shredder hidden in the picture frame worked and the work was torn into long and thin pieces.

Banksy revealed on social media that it was her fault.

There was a lot of interest as an unprecedented situation in which an artist damaged his winning bid became known.

Banksy also introduced Pablo Picasso's remarks that 'desire to destroy is also a desire to be creative' in relation to the work at the time.

The winner of this auction is said to be a private collector in Asia.

Netizens responded, "The torn artwork is 30 billion dollars…I don't even know what the world of modern art is!", "I think the artwork looks even nicer because I know the price ^^".
