The Blue House responded in principle to a public petition against the decision to cancel the admission to Pusan National University Medical School for Cho Min, the daughter of former Justice Minister Cho Kuk.
In response to the petition released today (15th), the Blue House explained, "In accordance with the 'Enforcement Decree of the Higher Education Act', each university makes a decision based on school regulations regarding the cancellation of student admission."
"Pusan University has announced that it has decided to cancel the admission after comprehensively reviewing the results of the admissions process management committee's self-investigation, the judgment of the appeals court, and the admission guidelines for new students," he said.
The Blue House also said, "Currently, Pusan National University is undergoing follow-up procedures according to the Administrative Procedure Act."
