The 2022 finance bill arrives at the French National Assembly.

Objective: final adoption before Christmas.

This budget is based on strong growth in the economy, after the recession caused by the management of the pandemic last year, and gives priority to the regal.

This is the last PLF of the five-year term, between electoral deadlines and the announced end of "whatever the cost".

Bercy also promises efforts to reduce the deficit which widened during the crisis.

This should not go through an increase in taxation.

The schedule of tax cuts decided before the pandemic is even maintained.

Instead, the executive intends to use part of the revenue generated by growth, expected at 6% this year, then 4% next year, to begin to fill this deficit.

Two parts are indeed missing in the current finance bill: Emmanuel Macron will present his France 2030 investment plan only on Tuesday and the contours of the commitment income for young people are still uncertain.

Valérie Pécresse, presidential candidate on the right at Les Républicains, accuses the government of "

burning the fund

 " before the election.

On the left, Éric Coquerel, member of the Insubordinate France party, believes for his part that "

this budget spends both insufficiently and badly

".
