Two men were tried in immediate appearance on Monday by the Mulhouse court (Haut-Rhin).

They had to answer for violence in meetings, kidnapping and forcible confinement, aggravated theft, extortion, threats and act of intimidation, reports

On September 19, they kidnapped two young men, aged 17 and 18.

The victims claim to have been threatened and then beaten for five hours.

The reason for the violence: a debt of 200 euros.

The two young men were also threatened the day after the incident by telephone.

One of them finally decided to file a complaint.

The two suspects were arrested on September 26.

They minimize the facts

In court, they minimized their responsibilities.

“They got into the car of their own free will.

We wanted to go and chat in a quiet place, ”says one of them.

One of the suspects was sentenced to sixteen months in prison, including four months on probation for two years.

A sentence that he can carry out at home, under electronic surveillance.

The other was sentenced to eighteen months in prison, including six months on probation for two years.

He was incarcerated.

The two men are prohibited from coming into contact with the victims, going to their homes and holding a weapon for five years.
