A schoolboy was hit by a school bus on Monday morning in Evian-les-Bains (Haute-Savoie).
Seriously injured, he was urgently evacuated to the cantonal hospital of Geneva in Switzerland, reports France Bleu Pays de Savoie.
The accident occurred in a car park adjacent to the Rives du Léman college, around 7.45 am, but the circumstances remain to be clarified.
According to a policewoman from Thonon-les-Bains in charge of the investigation, the victim had just got off the bus and was in a protected passage when he was run over.

, the student was notably injured in the lower limbs.
He was medicalized on site by the firefighters and a team from Smur.
Nine children aged 12 to 14 were taken care of by a medico-psychological emergency unit.
Witnesses of the scene, they must be questioned by the police.
