A schoolboy was hit by a school bus on Monday morning in Evian-les-Bains (Haute-Savoie).

Seriously injured, he was urgently evacuated to the cantonal hospital of Geneva in Switzerland, reports France Bleu Pays de Savoie.

The accident occurred in a car park adjacent to the Rives du Léman college, around 7.45 am, but the circumstances remain to be clarified.
