Good evening,

we're sticking to our first names.

On Monday we had it with Knut and Peter

-

today it's about Rembrandt.

Rembrandt's full name was Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn, and he made his first name a brand, not a bad practice.

60 of his paintings, drawings and etchings can be seen in the large special exhibition “Nennt mich Rembrandt!” In Frankfurt's Städel until January 30th, and it is to be expected that the rush will be great.

Have fun, but always keep your distance!

Or, if the influx of Rembrandt is too big, switch to other exhibitions.

In the Photography Forum Frankfurt, for example, pictures by the American photographer Peter Fink are shown.

  • Follow I follow

The corona numbers continue to fall, but only very slowly.

Two weeks ago the seven-day incidence in Hesse was 74, then a week later it was significantly lower at 64, most recently the decrease within a week was only two to 62.

Now a little more politics. There is a lot of talk these days about the new harmony between the FDP and the Greens. How things really stand can currently be observed in the Römer, where the Liberals are in favor of clearing the forest that is being sacrificed for the Riederwald tunnel, while the Greens let us know that they support any non-violent protest against the construction of the autobahn. Well, there are so few tree occupiers that the excitement over this contradiction is not worth it. But when it comes again and evacuation approaches, we are curious to see how resilient the yellow-green honeymoon is in the harsh reality.

And in addition,

the Hessian special way in the collective bargaining policy continues, for the employees of the state is again negotiated separately because the state has left the collective bargaining community of German states and is not returning there
