Sandviken Energi is preparing for municipal water and sewage to Norrbro

In 2019, Västra Gästrikland's community building administration has produced a new water and sewage plan for the entire municipality.

The VA plan points out which areas are in need of public water.

Through an in-depth needs assessment, they can see that the properties in the Norrbro area in Järbo have a need for public water and sewage.

This work means that in the long run they can ensure that the area has a long-term sustainable drinking water supply.

Expansion is expected to begin in 2023

Sandviken Energi is planning for the expansion in September and is also investigating the financing.

When all investigations are completed, the City Council decides on the area of ​​activity and which properties will be affected.

Affected property owners in Norrbro have on two occasions been invited to an information meeting in Järbo, with Västra Gästrikland's public construction administration and Sandviken Energi, so that they can ask questions about the process going forward and what it means to connect to public water and sewage.
