The tours around the Women's Clinic have been many and the reports from there have been about work environment problems with staff conflicts internally since 2019. Since then, health director Kjell Ivarsson has ordered a consultant report on work environment work.

The report was made by PO Sjöblom and time-stamped on 31 August, but was not recorded at Region Blekinge until 23 September - that is, over three weeks afterwards.

Among other things, the regional politician Markus Alexandersson (S) has reacted to this as he does not think the chairman of the health and medical care committee Erik Lindborg (KD) handled this well.

- The report was not in our documents but we received an email that a password was required.

It seems to be conscious and it is serious if you try to withhold information.

We had a meeting today and asked if the report was complete, because then it is a public document, he says.

Sees a pattern

Alexandersson (S) is the first vice chairman of the committee and states that this is not the first time similar things have happened.

He says that he has been involved in several attempts to withhold information.

Around this, he sees a pattern that makes it more difficult for the media and Blekinge's citizens to access information.

- There seems to be a fear of the media and we as representatives of democracy can not look at the media as something to be afraid of.

It is the chairman who is responsible for the documents, but they do not seem to have been stamped in and we think that is a shame, he says.

The basic conflict partly remains

SVT Nyheter Blekinge is looking for Erik Lindborg (KD) for a comment on the report.

It states that efforts and positive initiatives have been made, but that the basic conflict remains partly below the surface.

"Steps in the right direction can be seen and if the management only gets peace and support to continue on the path taken, it should be possible to look forward to an increasingly well-functioning clinic in terms of work environment."
