Law of the People's Republic of China on Keeping State Secrets. Law is enacted in accordance with the Constitution in order to protect state secrets, safeguard national security and interests.

All state organs and armed forces, all political parties and people's organizations, enterprises, institutions and other social organizations, as well as citizens, have the obligation to keep secrets. State encourages and supports the research and application of confidential science and technology, enhances independent innovation capabilities, and protects intellectual property rights in the field of confidentiality.
