After the law granting benefits to self-employed workers in California, a new bill was signed by the governor on Wednesday, September 22.

A law that targets Amazon in particular.

It is the warehouses where workers package, sort and send packages to customers that will be subject to this rule.

The productivity quotas set by the firm prevent them from taking breaks. 

According to a survey by online media The Verge, the pressure of the result is such that workers not productive enough in Amazon's eyes are automatically fired. 

This new law will force employers to disclose productivity quotas to workers.
