On September 21, local time, Slutsky, Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian State Duma, told the media that he had not yet obtained a US visa, which would prevent him from attending the UN General Assembly in New York.
Slutsky said that the U.S. Embassy did not give an explanation for this. He believes that this may be related to the fact that his name is on the blacklist sanctioned by the United States.
He pointed out that the United States has no right to prevent citizens of other countries from participating in international activities.
