Also, at a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, proposed creating a SCO hub in Alma-Ata to deliver international aid to Afghanistan.

Earlier it was reported that representatives of Russia, China, Pakistan and Iran held a four-way meeting on the situation in Afghanistan on the sidelines of the SCO and CSTO summits in Dushanbe.
