In June 2021, Romanova, according to her, on the instructions of the ex-head of Navalny's headquarters, Leonid Volkov, arrived in Crimea to organize a protest there.

The woman claims that Volkov promised to pay all the financial costs associated with this protest, but he cheated.

“I started organizing, campaigning, preparing posters, but an hour before the start of the rally, I was detained,” the interlocutor told RT.

The court fined Romanova 150 thousand rubles for repeated violation of the legislation on holding rallies, the ex-activist said.

After that, the woman was sent back to the Krasnodar Territory, where she was under recognizance not to leave.

However, her associates never paid her this fine.

“If my fine of 10 thousand rubles for a rally in Gelendzhik was paid within 10 days, then the Crimean fine has not been paid so far,” Romanova said.

Earlier, the ex-activist admitted in an interview with RT that she also organized an illegal rally in Gelendzhik, was beaten by her own associates and gave a false interview to the media for a monetary reward.
