The former head of the Venezuelan secret services of the

was internationally claimed by the
United States
for a drug trafficking crime and was initially arrested in 2019.
After being brought to justice, he was provisionally released and escaped the moment he learned that the handover to the United States was about to take place.
The arrest was carried out at 9:15 p.m. this Thursday by
Group II of Fugitives of the Central UDYCO,
in a joint operation with the
DEA,
according to police sources informed Europa Press.
The fugitive was hiding in
Torrelaguna street in Madrid.
