Binis said that in addition to a health center in Palamas, Karditsa Region, which was previously revealed to be suspected of issuing false COVID-19 vaccination certificates, 10 other vaccination centers were investigated for signs of fraud.
He pointed out that the National Transparency Administration uses cross-data as a survey reference.
The survey data includes which vaccination centers vaccinate people late at night, or which vaccination centers have particularly large fluctuations in the number of vaccinations.
In order to severely punish the issuance of false vaccinations or false new crown rehabilitation certificates, the Greek Ministry of Health submitted an amendment to the parliament.
According to the bill, doctors or other medical institution professionals suspected of fraud, as well as those who hold and use false certificates will be fined.
