The accident occurred just before 7 pm on Monday and it was a passing motorist who sounded the alarm to SOS.
It seems to have gone relatively well under the circumstances.
- The rescue service has arrived at the accident site and the first reports say that the driver has put down the motorcycle at a relatively low speed, says Bo-Lennart Björklund, internal commander at the rescue service in Norrbotten.
The accident has occurred between Kiruna and Kurravaara and it is unclear if the driver is injured.
